One Last Thing is an AI-powered journaling app that helps people pause, reflect, and find clarity at the end of their day. My role as UI/UX Designer was to create an experience that feels calm, supportive, and intuitive, turning journaling into a mindful ritual rather than a task.

I began by exploring the emotional side of journaling. Many people understand the benefits of reflection but struggle to maintain the habit. Through user research and journey mapping, I identified common barriers such as the blank page, decision fatigue, and the pressure to write perfectly.

To make journaling more approachable, I designed a flow where the AI offers thoughtful prompts that help users express their thoughts naturally. The interface uses a minimal and warm design system with soft colors, gentle typography, and open layouts to create a sense of calm. Subtle animations and progress indicators encourage consistency without distraction.

Alongside the app design, I developed the complete brand identity for One Last Thing, including the logo, wordmark, and color palette. The visual language reflects mindfulness and emotional clarity, combining simplicity with softness across the app and promotional materials.

The result is an experience that blends mindfulness with technology, supporting users in creating small moments of reflection, gratitude, and self-awareness.
